10th Annual San Diego Surf Art Gala

My friends at Surfrider Foundation, San Diego Chapter called upon Jay again this year to donate to their prestigious 10th Annual Surf Art Auction and Jay was stoked to contribute.
This year, Jay has donated a large signed canvas giclĂ©e print of “Pot of Gold”.

Set amid ocean breezes and the sound of crashing waves, an evening of beautiful art, fine food and drink, and coastal conservation will combine in an upscale affair when the Surfrider Foundation San Diego County Chapter hosts our 10th Annual Art Gala at The Powerhouse in Del Mar.

The environmentally inspired event will include silent and live auctions of ocean and surf themed artwork from renowned local and national artists including Andy Davis, Wade Koniakowsky, Jason Samarin, Jeff Yeomans, Neil Bociek, Alan Casagrande, Shag, Jay Alders, Stephen King, and many more.

Attendees can also bid on one-of-a-kind surfboards and other unique items. Gourmet dinner will be prepared by Yapo’s Home Catering with ingrediants from Jimbo’s…Naturally, Stone Brewing Co. will provide San Diego’s best beer and there will be a selection of fine wine from Barefoot Wineries and non-alcoholic drinks.

The evening’s program will include an awards ceremony recognizing San Diego County individuals’ and businesses’ contributions to protecting the coastal environment, speeches by local environmental leaders and a live auction.

Proceeds from the ticket sales and auctions fund the chapter and local programs including water quality testing, education outreach, beach cleanups, pollution monitoring and advocacy efforts.

The Powerhouse is located at 1658 Coast Blvd. in Del Mar.

Tickets for the Art Gala are $75 each and include a grazing dinner, complimentary drinks, entertainment and access to bid on and own beautiful works of art. Tickets to this exclusive event are limited to the first 150 people who purchase them, so people interested in attending are encouraged to purchase tickets now.
