Jay Alders and Koru Swimwear partnered to design a 2013 line of eco-friendly swimsuits designed for women with an active lifestyle.
The suits are made from discarded materials such as carpet fluff and fishing line bound for landlls. The fabric is exceptionally soft and provides excellent UV 50+ protection.
The Fairy Tails suit is inspired by Jay’s painting of the same title and the Sea Zen suit is inspired by the Alders art, “Sea Zen of Tranquility”.
Koru Crew Neck Eco Rashguard is both sustainable and technologically advanced: soft, solid and light, it ensures an excellent UV protection (UPF 50+) and features a really high shape retention power.
Thanks to the Xtra Life LYCRA®, which is much more resistant to chlorine, sun creams and oils than standard elastomers, and to the prestigious LYCRA® Beauty Certificate by Invista,
Made in Italy new ecological fabric: Renew. This fabric is made from 80% recycled polyamide fiber derived from production waste, scraps and also finished products and 20% Xtra Life LYCRA®
Both suits are available on the Jay Alders online store and the Koru Swimwear websites.
