About the Painting
Jay painted “DF Live” live on stage during a Donavon Frankenreiter performance at the historic Stone Pony in Asbury Park, New Jersey on July 22,2011. The painting was conceived of and painted in the spur of the moment using the music and crowd to fuel the creative process.
