Giclée , commonly pronounced “jhee-clay,” is a an archival, high-quality, fine art print on canvas or fine art paper using ink-jet and digital methods. Giclée/Archival prints use inks which are tested to last over 150-200 years and are printed on acid-free surfaces.
Our Canvas Reproductions are the highest quality Giclée prints available. We use top quality Archval Fine Art Canvas to ensure that you will own a piece of art that will last a lifetime.
They are personally inspected by our studio experts for approval of color and print quality.
Once the prints are created, they are set to dry fully and then varnished with several coats of a professional UV inhibitor and protective clear coating.
Once dry, the Canvas Giclée Prints are Gallery Wrapped with colored edges coordinating with the colors of the Painting. Gallery Wrapped using 1 1/2 inch depth bars. Gallery wrapped means that the canvas is stapled to the stretcher bars on the back of the painting, keeping the sides of the canvas neat and professional looking)
A Frame is not necessary with a Gallery Wrapped Canvas since all of the sides of the painting are clean and neat looking, but some people have a preference to frame it as an added touch for their Home or Office Decor.
Similarly to the Canvas Reproductions, our Archival Prints on Fine Art Paper are personally inspected by our studio experts for color accuracy and print quality.
We use the most superb Archival Fine Art papers. These are Acid-Free and Archival which will last longer than a lifetime.
You will need to frame your Fine Art Archival prints on paper in order to display them. They will arrive safely wrapped and rolled up in a shipping tube.
This creates a very durable protective semi-gloss surface, deepens the richness of colors and gives the surface of the print a textured brushwork similar to an original painting. When a print is Embellished, most people think the piece is an original!
This Embellishment option is only available for Canvas Reproductions.
We have a lot of pride and take many measures to keep your order safe. That said, sometimes during transit damage can rarely occur.
If the box or tube that your item was shipped in is noticeably damaged please keep all packing materials and send us photos so we can file a damage claim immediately. We must file the claim within 14 days of receiving the order. This is a generally easy process, so don’t stress. Also, we’re here to help.
We’ll handle the claim and get you a replacement.
We are not responsible for any damages that are caused by mishandling though. So please be careful when unpacking and handling your art.

Any exchanges or returns must be approved and authorized first. Requests for exchanges/returns or damage to orders must be reported within 7 business days of delivery.
Please note: Sending back merchandise without an authorization does not guarantee any refund or exchange. If there is any issue with your order, please let us know, we are always very happy to help you.
Once in a while, a credit card won’t process or will decline. The reason for this most of the time, is because your address doesn’t match your Card Holder Information on file.
As a security measure, if the address is misspelled or slightly different from what your Credit Card Company has on file, our fraud filters will decline the transaction to protect you.
You should check your Credit Card Bill and verify that everything is up to date and accurate.
If this is not the case and you have some issue with placing an order, please contact us, we’ll be happy to help and would appreciate knowing of any issue.
When you attempt to place an order with an online merchant such as us, sometimes your bank or credit card will put a “temporary hold” on the funds you were going to pay with.
If your order didn’t process but you see money coming out of your online statement, give it a day or two and the ‘temporary hold’ will release and the funds will go back into your account. This is done by your credit card/bank, not us.
Your orders are very important to us, so we strive to get your prints and merchandise out as quick as possible. That said, here’s the basics: We ship once a week, usually mid week. We’re a family run business and this keeps us sane and happy. If you have a huge rush or special event and tight deadlines or low patience thresholds, please contact us before ordering.
In Stock items: Including matted prints, posters & apparel will take an average of 3-7 business days to process and then will ship out.
Museum Quality Prints (Canvas and Fine Art Prints on Paper) are custom printed and may take 7-18 business days to produce, dry & prepare before shipping occurs.
Please note: Express or Rush Delivery Option *only* refers to the time it takes from our door to your door when the print is ready to ship. This does NOT mean that your custom printed order will arrive to you within 2-3 days of actual ordering time.
International customers may experience delays due to your country’s customs and security policies. This is completely out of our control. With some countries this adds 10-30 days but other countries like Brazil have much longer customs delays. Some countries like in the UK, Australia, Canada and western Europe have almost no customs delay, but we can’t predict what your country will do.
Just add item(s) to your Shopping Cart. You will have an option to automatically calculate shipping to anywhere before you check out by simply adding your address. We do not profit on shipping costs,we actually discount our actual costs. Our cart automatically gets rates from the carriers.
If you have questions about saving when shipping multiple items or shipping internationally, contact us, we’ll be happy to help and sometimes there are custom options to group multiple items together for bigger order.
We ship to almost all developed countries around the world. Please add items to your cart and proceed to checkout. If there’s a problem, let us know. For instance: Canada, Australia, Brazil, Europe, South Africa or Japan for instance…No problem.
There’s a very few exceptions…Due to some countries being very difficult to get items to or too many fraudulent issues in the past, there are some countries that we can’t ship to. We are sorry if this inconveniences you in anyway.
Once your item ships, you’ll receive a tracking number via email. Please look for that and check your spam folders too to make sure it’s not in there.
Once you have your tracking number, you have all the information that we have access to. You can track it online. We don’t have any further information.
Please note: Many countries have customs and inspections processes that slow things down as much as 15-30 days or more. If this is the case, you may see that your package left the U.S. and there is a delay to arriving to you. That’s probably due to someone inspecting your order.
Example: A lot of countries are very quick. Bravo to Canada, the UK and Australia for instance for not slowing down things. But our friends in Brazil for instance may see 15-60 days go by while you wait for your country to process and inspect everything. We have even seen longer delays.
After a package is shipped from our studio we have no control over how long it takes to get through customs. We wish we could prevent this but it’s completely out of our control and also rather typical. Once it passes customs, it will arrive to you…Please be patient.
If you’re still concerned, please contact us.
- Where we ship to– We ship to almost anywhere in the world. We get asked this a lot and yes, we regularly and successfully send art around the planet.
- Shipping rates are calculated and will be shown to you before you check out.
- Saving Money On Postage – When ordering larger canvases or multiple bigger items to be shipped outside of the United States please contact us before ordering to determine actual shipping options and costs (*Note: USPS.com does not ship oversized packages, only UPS does.) We can sometimes save you on shipping costs by shipping canvases rolled in tubes or grouping items in one box.
- US Dollars – When you pay using your credit card or paypal, currency is converted automatically. For Currency Conversion rates, go here.
- Postage Amounts – The shipping fees that we charge are the actual shipping costs that UPS or USPS charges us. Actually, we discount foreign customers and we pay for part of your cost to help lower your order amount. Often we discount by 15-20% of actual costs.
- VAT/Import Taxes – Please be aware that many countries have their own “Import Duty”, “VAT” or UPS Brokerage fee. This is completely separate from our control and we can’t predict or calculate that. You may wish to check with your local UPS office, Postal Office or Customs Office to determine what these charges may be. These fees are mandatory if your country charges them.We can not claim your order as a gift to you with no value to avoid this fee, so please don’t ask us. If you refuse paying your country’s taxes, that is not a valid excuse to refuse shipment. We will not refund nor accept back merchandise due to unpaid taxes or fees.
We cannot, of course, assume any responsibility for these extra charges that may be incurred in your country, and therefore these additional charges are your own responsibility.
When ordering Canvas Giclées – Shipping costs go up dramatically with larger canvas prints because of their size. So one option is ordering a slightly smaller size.
Also, what many customers like to do is have the canvas print shipped unassembled. You can inexpensively have a local framer or artist stretch your new canvas print once you receive it. This will allow us to ship it in a tube or smaller box and shipping will be much cheaper. If you wish to do this option, contact us.
Multiple items (especially canvases): If you are ordering more than one canvas print, shipping weight will be affected and make the shipping cost go up. Please contact us if you need help shipping more than one canvas. We can send them unassembled in a tube and make your shipping costs much lower.
Smaller items – USPS is the best option for lower costs. When items get too large, they no longer will ship overseas and UPS is then the only option which costs much more.
Shipping Fine Art Giclée Paper Prints – This is a much less expensive way of getting art since they are lighter and shipped in tubes instead of boxes. You will have to have the print framed to display. So keep that in mind. Canvas prints are ready to hang.
