About the Painting

Painted on wood panel measuring 18 x 40 inches and completed in March 2013, this is Aldersโ€™ first Yoga painting.

The stylized yogi is in the powerful core pose of Downward Dog. The warm colors, surreal sky and spiritually charged surrealistic artwork pays tribute to the ancient practice of Yoga and the oneness Alders felt during a trip to Hanalei Bay in Kauai, Hawaii.
