This fantastic piece I first witnessed while on my own honeymoon in Costa Rica. I saw it at a small Tamarindo restaurant called the Green Papaya. As I sat down at the table, I looked up and thought I saw the back of my own wife riding a surfboard on her knees:-) I then looked up the painting background with my ‘free wifi,’ and read that Jay was inspired by his own wife on his honeymoon. Upon returning to Charleston, I put in a late order, and they shipped me a canvas print in time for Christmas:-) Much thanks:-)
