About the Painting
Jay painted “The Proposal” live on stage during a Donavon Frankenreiter performance at the Slater Brothers Invitational in Cocoa Beach, Florida on Oct 28th, 2011. Little did his girlfriend Chelsea know at the time that besides being a romantic painting based on the two of them, it was also to become a key piece of what was to become his surprise proposal to her.
