We took our kids to their first music festival this past weekend!
The Sea.Hear.Now Festival was set up in our hood on the beaches of Asbury Park, NJ. The weather and line up could not have been more perfect.
We had a total blast and our children stayed awake almost the entire time!

We were hanging out backstage before the show.  I watched for a bit as G. Love andJack Johnson rehearsed.
I was standing next to Milky Chance who had just performed. I had a sketchbook in my back pocket and did this super fast sketch as they played “Rodeo Clowns”.
As if all this wasn’t cool enough, the day before this, we saw Blondie perform and she was awesome.
It’s weekends like this past one that remind me that not all career payoffs come in the form of a paycheck.
