On Aug 30, 2013 , I was up in Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts for the first time. It’s a beautiful spot and I had a blast with some really good friends.  For a second time this month, I shared the stage with my good friend G. Love as I did some live painting during his performance.  This particular time was a unique experience, it was the first live painting gig I did with a model.
My friend Pat Hall and I thought it would be a cool way to switch things up and add some edge to the painting. G was all for it and loved the idea. Our friend Sarah Bamf came through to volunteer as our model.
The painting was totally improvised on stage and I had such a fun time doing this. Â It’s good to keep things loose and brushy for pieces like this. Â I have never heard Garrett play with his band Butter before, so that in itself was a treat.
