Just released: New artwork recently commissioned by the internationally touring band, Slightly Stoopid for the Closer To The Sun annual Music Festival. This year’s event will be taking place Dec 14-18 2016 in Morelos, Mexico.
I was stoked to be called upon by my friends at Slightly Stoopid’s record label Silverback Records for this project.”, Alders said. “They gave me a lot of creative freedom to come up with the trippy surf art imagery. Their art direction really helped nail down the final version of this piece and it was a blast to paint the powerful waves with the glowing horizon and Mayan Pyramids to balance out the piece
