A new art release from Jay Alders today as we share with you, “Mountainside Cruise”. This marks Jay Alders’ first cycling genre artwork which was painted as a commissioned piece & sold to a collector in New England who owns several other Alders originals.
Alders is releasing a limited run of archival prints as gallery wrapped canvas giclées and fine art prints on acid-free art paper. Prints can be purchased while they last here. Print orders can be shipped throughout the USA or internationally.
I was inspired by this piece by my trip to Italy on my honeymoon. My wife and I took a road cycling tour in the countryside through the hills of Tuscany. The scenes that I saw on that bike ride combined in my mind with other trips that I’ve taken made the vision for this painting come together as I imagined it. – Jay Alders
The family that now owns the original painting cycles, surfs and enjoys nature together while traveling the world on philanthropic journeys.
This oil painting measured 24 x 48 inches and was painted on wood panel measuring 1.5 inch in depth.
