It was a beautiful day today..Sunny and crisp air.
I hung out with my Mom and her doggies at the park near the river…played guitar a bit..
I just got back from the beach…I was reading a book on Mind-Body Connection which touched a bit on Quanum Physics…The book has some excercises in it to help balance your body’s polarity. Intriguing shit to say the least.
Anyway, part of this book I was reading last night talks about finding your balance, and there’s a part where you do deep breathing excercises and focus on “Balance”. They give an example of imaging standing on one leg.
So anyway, back to the beach..I was there reading the 2nd part of this balance excercise trying to grasp some of the concepts when I looked up at this cute seagul hanging out with me. It was there for a while and I didn’t think much of it, until I noticed the poor thing had only one leg! As Im sitting here reading this part of the book, there is a perfectly balanced one legged seagul in front of me. I think I will use that seagul as my visualization from now on.
Interestingly enough, this book talks about polar opposites when gaining this balance. I looked at a cast shadow from a bird directly opposite of my one legged friend, and sure enough, there was another seagul limping on an injured leg. I suppose in the symbolic paradigm we live in, I was metaphorically and literally, between balance and imbalance.
Thank you mother nature.
