I got a text message 2 days ago from Floridian photographer Michael Herb (204 Studios)Â who let me know that he was coming through my neck o’ the woods and inquired about doing another shoot with me.
I had just done a shoot with Michael after my Quiksilver artist signing in Miami 2 months ago and was really impressed with the results, so I was happy to again be the subject of his lens.
Michael and his friend Joyce came over yesterday afternoon for the shoot and we had a really fun time. I showed them around my studio and told Michael about some creative concepts I had which he liked and we collaborated for the next several hours. Shooting,re-shooting, changing lighting and swapping nerdy photoshop ideas for the post-production phase.
Both he and I wanted a shot that was complimentary and reminiscent of my painting style and I think he did a great job with it!
PS: After the shoot I insisted that we do a goofy shot of us together. (see below) 🙂
