When I got to the Quiksilver Store on Lincoln Road in Miami’s South Beach, I saw the promotional poster for my artist signing event next to a huge Kelly Slater graphic and was really honored to share a window with the 10x champ.
Unlike most Art Shows I host which require hours or days to prepare for, this just required me to show up,schmooze with great people and sign my name a lot. All things I am good at. I wasn’t sure what to expect but was really impressed with the professionalism & support of the entire Quiksilver staff especially my friend Gary who was responsible for all of this.
I enjoy sharing opportunities with friends and was glad to have my good friend Gabe Gomez by my side performing live music. I was so appreciative & honored by the steady flow of friendly folks coming to meet me and hang out.
I hope to schedule some more of these types of events soon, it’s a great way to connect & interact with the people who make my career possible. Thank you to you all!!
