The San Diego based rockers Slightly Stoopid, commissioned Jay Alders to do another tour poster for this year’s Closer to the Sun 2017 Festival. The annual music event is scheduled for Dec 13-17th, 2017 in Puerto Morelos, Mexico and is already SOLD OUT.
Jay did the art for last year’s Closer to the Sun 2016 and this year’s event is looking just as epic. “Stoopid Heads” were stoked to see headliners SOJA, Stick Figure, J Boog, Fortunate Youth and The Expanders also on the line up this year. This year’s art was inspired by the Aztec pyramids, tropical ocean water and gorgeous sunrise and sunsets that this tropical paradise is known for.
